Spend a full day learning about seaweeds in an intensive, hands-on, Seaweed Workshop scheduled to coincide with some of the lowest tides of the year in the heart of the local seaweed season.
Seaweed Workshop includes:
*Foraging fresh seaweeds
*Learning how to dry seaweeds
*Identification of a variety of local seaweeds
*Tasting local, wild-harvested seaweeds
*Learning some culinary uses of seaweeds
*Seaweed hand soak
*Learning about the nutritional and health properties of seaweeds
*Seaweed ecology
*Learning about the crucial role of algae/seaweed to the health of our planet

Please Note:
*This workshop includes a trip to a beach that includes a 100 metre walk on a dirt path and then a 5o metre walk on uneven beach rocks
*Participants should bring a bagged lunch
