Kelp Forest Eco-Tours

Gear up in a full wetsuit, mask fins & snorkel and join marine biologist and Kelp harvester, Amanda Swinimer, as she leads you into the eerie and mystical realm of the Pacific Northwest’s Kelp Forests. During this tour, we snorkel through an underwater forest in the beautiful ‘Emerald Sea’, observing the tidal dance of the massive kelps and the myriad of creatures who make this underwater jungle their home. This tour is only for the truly adventurous at heart!


  • 45 minutes in the Kelp Forest

  • A discussion of Kelp Forest ecology

  • A hot cup of‘Tea of Land & Sea’ on the beach

Duration:  2.5 hours
Cost:  $150.00/person
When: Tours can be booked from June 1st to September 1st
Tour Size: Minimum 2 people, maximum 4

Participants are required to have:

  • full 5mm (or thicker) wetsuit with hoodie

  • booties

  • gloves

  • mask/fins/snorkel.
